Nürnberg (ots) – Ziehm Imaging herewith announces that its holding company ATON GmbH acquired 100% of the US based leading Mini C-arm specialist OrthoScan, Inc. This acquisition shows ATON’s continuous investment in the healthcare business with Ziehm Imaging being part of the ATON portfolio since 2004.

Klaus Hoerndler, CEO of Ziehm Imaging states: “We are sure that our partners value it as a positive signal around the world that further synergies are created for our customers, now that the two companies are held under one roof.” Nelson Mendes, CEO of Ziehm Imaging Inc. comments that “this acquisition is a clear statement of ATON’s commitment to the US market and the understanding of the US customer’s needs”.

Ziehm Imaging and OrthoScan product lines complement each other in the different surgical segments, allowing for close cooperation to jointly serve customers and open new business opportunities for both companies.
