Just knowing the equilibrium value of the interfacial tension is no longer sufficient. The drop volume technique of the DVT50 from KRÜSS records the interfacial tension under dynamic conditions – in an interface age range from fractions of a second up to several minutes.

Thanks to its wide measuring range from 100 mN/m down to 0.1 mN/m and the possibility of thermostatting the liquid phases the instrument is suitable for a wide range of applications. Very simple handling during filling and cleaning as well as software control with programmed measuring sequences ensure a smooth measurement procedure with a high sample throughput.
