Munich, Germany (ots) – tenKsolar announced the release of its newest RAIS Photovoltaic (PV) module. The new solar module provides 180W power under Standard Test Conditions (STC) and a peak power rating of 262W when integrated into the RAIS (Redundant Array of Integrated Solar) Wave System utilizing RAIS Wave Light-Smart reflectors. The UL1703 and UL1741 certified RAIS PV module is built with high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells configured in a proprietary cell matrix configuration. IEC 61215 testing is underway at EuroTest and expected to complete before September 2011.
tenKsolar RAIS PV modules bring to life a completely unique and compelling Third Generation Solar solution with its RAIS Cell Optimizing Architecture. The RAIS Cell Optimizing Architecture provides cell level Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), integrated ground fault detect, and auto shutdown safety features not possible with other technology, making the RAIS PV module the most advanced solar module on the market today.
