Momail announces that it has signed a deal with Tele2 for its mobile email platform. Tele2 Latvia is first out and has already launched Tele2 Mobile Mail aimed for the consumer and SMB market. Momails mobile platform makes it very easy for operators and ISP’s to enable mobile email, and Tele2′s branded service was up and running just five weeks after the signing of the deal. The service is available in English and in a week from now in Latvian and Russian.

"Tele2 made an effort to find E-mail on phone service that scores high on both customer friendliness and price. We wanted our customer to be able to fully use all customers’ existing email boxes on phone while keeping setup very simple. Momail is good deal for Tele2 Latvia and our customers", says Didzis Solims, Products director of Tele2 Latvia.

Tele2 is one of the largest operators in the Nordics and Eastern Europe with operations in 11 countries. With the mobile email platform from Momail Tele2′s customers can get their email on the widest range of mobile phones, today more than 1500 different models. With Momails patented Mobile Message Optimization & Protection Engine (MMOPE) all emails, including attachments like photos and documents, are optimized with up to 99,9% before reaching the mobile. This speeds up the transfer and saves cost for mobile data traffic.
