Kahl (ots) – In recent years the demand for solar powered products increased. That means for many companies to develop and manufacture innovative and extraordinary products. One of these innovative products are the solar-powered street lights.

GEO GmbH & Co. KG in Germany has specialized in this segment and produces over 40 different varieties, but not only for the European market but also for the southern and equatorial market.

Thus, on the Intersolar Munich presented some new, very attractive designs on booth C2.437.

With the combination of LED technology, the costs could be reduced and an almost maintenance-free light developed. The high quality module technology ensures reliable charging of the solar batteries, even at cloudy sky, eg in winter. The operating time during rainy weather is more than 3 days. By the extreme long lifetime of LED solar street lights, the environment is less burdened with pollutants such as mercury. Martin Georgi, the CEO of GEO-Technik explained: “We produce and develop large solar lights since 2005 and have performed many succesful street lighting projects.
