(pressebox) München, 03.04.2009, MAN AG’s Annual General Meeting in Munich today resolved the Company’s change of legal form to an SE (European Stock Corporation). The Supervisory Board was re-elected for this reason.
MAN AG’s current Supervisory Board Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand K.Piëch, was confirmed as the Chairman of the new MAN SE. In addition, the following members were elected to represent the stockholders: Michael Behrendt, Dr. jur. Heiner Hasford, Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Renate Köcher, Stefan W. Ropers, Dr.-Ing. E.h. Rudolf Rupprecht, Dr.-Ing. Ekkehard D. Schulz and Rupert Stadler.
The following members will represent the employees on the Board: Marek Berdychowski, Detlef Dirks, Jürgen Dorn, Gerhard Kreutzer, Nicola Lopopolo, Erich Schwarz, Jürgen Kerner and Thomas Otto (Deputy Supervisory Board Chairman).
The new Supervisory Board appointments will not take effect until the change of legal form is entered in the Commercial Register. The Annual General Meeting approved the actions of the current Supervisory Board members by a large majority.Über MAN Aktiengesellschaft
