(Booth 6 I 02), Polytype will present the latest innovations in coating technologies such as simultaneous multilayer curtain coating systems, newest technology of inline coating heads, high precision comma doctor blades and a new chamber doctor blade operating in six o?clock position.

New coating system available on pilot line

The technology center of Polytype was equipped with a chamber doctor blade operating in six o?clock position. The chamber doctor blade type AGS 2500 ?System BASF? is able to coat solvent and solventless coating medias and works with two separate pressure chambers. The AGS 2500 ?System BASF? allows to produce perfectly transparent coatings ? free of foam. Unlike all conventional pressure chamber systems, the performance of the rear barrier chamber prevents any entry of air into the chamber doctor.Über Polytype Converting SA
