(pressebox) Berlin, 15.01.2009, MUTEC from Germany, manufacturer of professional digital audio and video equipment, offers now a 1 gigabyte (GB) SDRAM memory module for Roland synthesizers of the Fantom-G series.
Due to the good business relationship between Roland Germany and MUTEC, technicians of Roland agreed to test the MUTEC 1GB SDRAM memory module with the corresponding devices in their studios. After doing that, they were happy to state that all tests were passed without failures or problems. This now enables MUTEC to offer the first officially approved 1GB SDRAM memory module for Roland Fantom-G synthesizers!
The MUTEC 1GB SDRAM memory module is manufactured strictly in accordance with the internationally valid JEDEC standards. It is compatible with Roland Fantom-G6, Fantom-G7 and Fantom-G8 synthesizers. All units require the latest operating system update to version 1.20. This is essentially to address the whole capacity of the 1GB SDRAM memory module. One audio sample may have now a size of up to 512MB. Thus, the maximum stereo recording time is expanded to more than 100 minutes.
Together with the new operating system update 1.20, the MUTEC 1GB SDRAM memory module improves the functionality and the use of the Roland Fantom-G synthesizers considerably! The 1GB SDRAM memory module of MUTEC will be available at the beginning of January 2009.
