Jörg Krechky appointed Head of Commercial Agency at Pirelli RE in Germany



(pressebox) Milano, 26.01.2009, Jörg Krechky (45) will take on the task of Head of Commercial Agency at Pirelli RE in Germany from January 2009. Based in Hamburg, he will, as Managing Director, be responsible for the sales of Pirelli RE’s commercial properties.

Jörg Krechky has a profound knowledge of the real estate business, in particular the retail sector. Born in Hamburg, he has worked since 1999 for Jones Lang LaSalle and was lately National Director Retail Capital Markets and Head of Shopping Centre Investment Germany. It was in this capacity that, during the past four years, he has carried out more than 40 shopping centre transactions. After completing business studies, as a specialist in real estate economics, he began his professional career in centre management. Up to 1999 he was the head of branches of EPM in Frankfurt and Berlin.

While at Jones Lang LaSalle Jörg Krechky founded the Shopping Centre Investment Group in 2002, and is a member of the German and the International Councils of Shopping Centres. He lectures at the Academy of Real Estate Business Studies where he himself graduated in real estate economics in 2004.
