Frankfurt (ots) – The South African Minister of Tourism, Marthinus von Schalkwyk together with other Ministers and representatives from long haul destinations will on Friday announce the outcome of their recent deliberations in the margins of the ITB in Berlin.

This meeting was convened to specifically address the adverse effect that discriminatory taxes imposed by certain countries in the Euro zone have on the tourism industries of long haul destinations.

Ministers and representatives from like minded countries will be available for the above and further media interaction as follows:
