Imtech: 58 million orders in German ICT market

(pressebox) Gouda, The Netherlands, 25.03.2009, Imtech (technical services provider in Europe) announces that it recently has won a great number of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) hardware and software projects in Germany, representing a total value of 58 million euro.

Recently, Imtech (Fritz & Macziol) won several German orders regarding total ICT solutions from one point of contact (software, hardware and IT-services) in the fields of virtualization and consolidation, Customer Relationship Management (CSM) and business intelligence. These orders were obtained in the sectors of production and sales, amongst others from Melitta coffee and STABILO International, in the pharmaceutical sector for example from PHOENIX Pharmahandel and Pfizer, as well as in the public rail sector for Deutsche Bahn and other industry sectors with orders from amongst others Continental.

ICT: key factor

ICT has become a key factor in today’s society and is a supporting factor for most technical innovations. Consequently, ICT is increasingly playing an important role in Imtech’s total solutions approach. On the German ICT market Imtech is represented by its ICT company Fritz & Macziol Group. Fritz & Macziol, also active in Switzerland, is one of the larger German ICT companies and offers a broad portfolio of services mainly for medium-sized organisations and companies. Hardware and software projects are carried out from its 15 offices. Intensive co-operation with world-market leaders IBM and Microsoft makes high added value possible.

Imtech focus

Imtech’s activities concentrate on the core areas of ICT infrastructure, ERP solutions, tailor-made software, business intelligence, consultancy and management services and ICT services. Customers can approach Imtech not only for hardware (for example IBM System X/I/P/Z Storage), but also for software (including databases, WebSphere, IT-management, Lotus Notes, VMware, Middleware, Microsoft and SAP) and related IT services.

Total ICT solutions: key to success

Customers need a clear vision of the added value of ICT. Business processes need to be more efficient and effective, whereby costs and risks get reduced and information provision improved. Furthermore, the co-operation between businesses and organisations can be more optimised. The internet, of course plays a crucial role. Availability, accessibility, and security are increasingly becoming key words with respect to ICT solutions. For Imtech these trends combined result in a growing demand for storage, web technology applications, business intelligence and implementations using IBM, Microsoft and also SAP solutions. More and more often, total ICT solutions from one point of contact (the combination of software, hardware and related IT services) are being delivered.Über Imtech Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG
