Lycos Europe N.V. (ISIN: NL0000233195) today applied for the revocation of admission of shares/certificates representing shares to the sub-sector of the Regulated Market with additional obligations arising from the admission (Prime Standard) at the Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (Frankfurt Stock Exchange) in order to switch to the General Standard segment. The admission to the regulated market (General Standard) will not be affected by the revocation.

The reasons are mainly reducing the administration efforts and cost savings while the company continues to sell business units and discontinues remaining operations as announced earlier.

The change of segments will come into effect three months after the announcement of the revocation by the management board of the German Stock Exchange in the internet on www.deutsche-boerse.com.
