Earn 8.87% more! a2peak’s innovative PV module accepted by EU PVSEC



Taiwan (ots) – a2peak power developed an innovative PV module, which adopts a new structure to increase the power output by 8.87%. The new development has been accepted to present in the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (26th EU PVSEC).

The EU PVSEC is held in Europe in every September, it is the most important event in the Photovoltaic industry. The major players in the PV business always take this opportunity to disclose new technologies. There are totally 1,728 excellent researches submitted for the conference this year, and the Scientific Committee which consists of 185 leading experts from the global PV community selected 316 most valuable researches for the presentation in the conference.

a2peak’s research is selected in the subject of Innovative Module Concepts, DuPont, BP Solar, Q-Cells, TÜV Rheinland and ECN are also selected to present in the session. a2peak demonstrates its innovation capability to compete with the global enterprises.

‘Although the cell efficiency increases every year, it is more and more difficult to raise the efficiency. Every 1% increase is a giant step for cell manufactures’, stated by Dr. Lin, a2peak’s Director of R&D Division. a2peak’s high efficiency PV module adopts special structure design and new materials to earn 8.87% more power output. An even more exciting point is that it can be achieved with normal crystalline solar cells. This innovative PV module will be announced at Intersolar 2011 (8th ~ 10th June in Munich), it will definitely attract all the spotlights in the exhibition!
