Contracts/Major order

Dortmund/Wuppertal (euro adhoc) – The order, to develop from scratch an inventory system for Barmenia Life Insurance, gives adesso the opportunity to enter the life insurance sector and develop its own original solution for the industry. adesso is carrying out the project, which is worth a high single-million Euro figure, in cooperation with the specialist insurance consultancy BELTIOS GmbH. The rights to the sector solution which will be developed, PSLife, will remain with a joint venture founded for this purpose by adesso and BELTIOS.

The methodologically and technologically state-of-the-art solution will enter a market whose supplier side can offer only a few options for life insurance companies. With their PSLife solution, adesso and BELTIOS intend to create significant market share for themselves and additionally benefit from offering services related to implementing PSLife. The approximately 100 life insurers in Germany have a total of 95 million insurance contracts with premium volumes amounting to over EUR 85 billion annually.
