Jungfraubahn Holding AG has submitted an offer to the Lauterbrunnen Municipality and Wengen-Männlichen Aerial Cableway to purchase their shares in the Parkhaus Lauterbrunnen AG. In the event of the deal being completed, Parkhaus Lauterbrunnen AG will become a fully owned subsidiary of Jungfraubahn Holding AG.

The Jungfraubahn Holding AG currently holds 68.3 per cent of Parkhaus Lauterbrunnen AG shares. Lauterbrunnen Municipality holds 23.4 per cent and 8.3 per cent are owned by the Wengen-Männlichen Aerial Cableway. The Lauterbrunnen Municipal Council and the executive board of Wengen-Männlichen Aerial Cableway will consider the offer until the end of March 2011. If both bodies approve the offer and the partners agree on a purchase price, the business will be put before Lauterbrunnen´s electorate.
