The executive boards of the Jungfraubahn Holding AG (Jungfrau Railway Holding) and Sesselbahn Lauberhorn AG (Lauberhorn Chairlift) have agreed to conduct negotiations on the integration of the Sesselbahn Lauberhorn AG into the Jungfrau Railways Group. One of the points to be clarified in the negotiations is in which form the integration should be implemented. The Jungfraubahn Holding AG intends to submit a purchase offer to Sesselbahn Lauberhorn AG shareholders as quickly as possible. However, this will only be done if, at the same time, the Sesselbahn Lauberhorn AG Executive Board recommends approval (friendly takeover).

The Lauberhorn chairlift is one of the most richly traditional snowsport facilities in the region and so in the whole of Switzerland. In winter it is totally integrated into the Jungfrau Ski Region fare network and thus in the ski area of Kleine Scheidegg. It has an annual revenue of CHF 1 million.
