Dr. Albert Seidl, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of JoWooD Entertainment AG, Vienna has, for personal reasons and with the consent and understanding of the Supervisory Board, formally resigned his Management Board mandate. The details regarding the termination of his employment contract will be settled in the next few days. Albert Seidl will be available to the Company as a consultant in the future.

The Supervisory Board will entrust Franz Rossler, the former Chief Financial Officer of AT&S AG, with the interim management of the Company and has immediately begun the search for a successor. Rossler will assume this position on 17 May.

Michael Sares thanked Albert Seidl for his “outstanding performance in restructuring the Company and achieving the turnaround and strategic reorientation of JoWooD. The Company is now well-positioned and there is nothing that could prevent systematic organic growth from going forward”. The new CEO is to take up his position by the end of the year.
