IVU can look back on a successful financial year 2009. Despite the general economic situation, IVU Traffic Technologies AG has been able to achieve the best results in its 33-year history. Revenue has risen by 10% to EUR 37.3 million and gross profit has even increased by 12% up to EUR 27.6 million. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were 70% higher than in 2008, amounting to EUR 2.1 million. In mid-2009 IVU finally paid off its loans and is now once again debt free. The positive development of the IVU share price in 2009 and the rise in trading volumes are a good sign.
In order to be prepared for future projects in national and international settings, IVU has strengthened its team. Staff capacity grew to 273 (+8.7% compared to 2008). Personnel expenditure increased by 6% to EUR 18.3 million.
For 2010 IVU expects revenue of approximately EUR 40 million and gross profits of EUR 30 million.
