The board of directors of Investkredit Bank AG announced today, that the planned
transfer of the banking business of Österreichische
Volksbanken-Aktiengesellschaft to Investkredit Bank AG by way of demerger
(announced on April 15, 2011) will not be effected in 2011. Regarding a possible
future combination of both companies no statement can be made at present.
