Hamburg, 28 September 2011. Uwe Bergheim has resigned as chairman of the
supervisory board of Marseille-Kliniken AG (Prime Standard, ISIN DE 0007783003,
MKA) on 27 09 2011 due to personal reasons. He stays on as member of the board,
likewise as member of the finance and audit committee. The supervisory board of
Marseille-Kliniken AG elected from among its members Dr. Dr. h.c. Thomas
Middelhoff as new chairman of the supervisory board at yesterday´s meeting.

Hans-Hermann Tiedje remains unchanged as deputy chairman of the supervisory
board.
