- Camera business exceeding expectations – 2010 sales forecast now EUR49 – 50 mill. (was EUR46 – 48 mill.) – 2010 EBT forecast now > EUR4.6 mill. (was > EUR4.1 mill.)

Ahrensburg, December 15th, 2010 – The fourth quarter of 2010 is developing better than expected for Basler AG. Due to the ongoing strong performance of Basler´s Components business segment (digital cameras for applications in industry & video surveillance) the management board has decided to increase the guidance for the fiscal year 2010 once again.

Group sales are now expected to grow to a level between EUR49 mill. and EUR50 mill. (previous guidance: EUR46 – 48 mill.; 2009 sales: EUR33.7 mill.). Earnings before taxes (EBT) will be no less than EUR4.6 mill. (previous guidance: > EUR4.1 mill.; 2009 EBT: EUR-8.0 mill.).

The financial report for the fiscal year 2010 will be published on March 31st 2011.
