Connecting data loggers simply: Solar-Log(TM) with Easy Installation function

Munich (ots) – At the Intersolar 2011 trade exhibition in Munich, from June 08 to 10, 2011, Solare Datensysteme GmbH is presenting an assortment of new functions and enhancements for the Solar-Log(TM) monitoring system in Halle B5, booth no. 580.

The times when metres of cable and time-consuming on-site configuration were required for connecting photovoltaic monitoring devices are now over. The monitoring professionals at Solare Datensysteme in the small town of Binsdorf in the south of Germany have come up with a solution. The Solar-Log line of products is now not only available with WLAN, but in the upscale versions now offer mobile data capabilities (GPRS). In the latest firmware version the developers have also been able to considerably simplify installation and configuration, as well as connection to the data network. “Our aim was to simplify the work performed by solar technicians on location and to prevent at the outset possible sources of error caused by incorrect data entry”, explains Technology Director Jörg Karwath.
