Carl Zeiss AG, the global market leader for high-quality cine lenses, will appear at the IBC (International Broadcasting Convention) with its own booth for the first time from September 11-15, 2009. At the leading international trade fair for electronic media and equipment in Amsterdam, Carl Zeiss will present its entire range of competencies in the field of lenses: from Hollywood movie cameras to Nokia cell phones, from camcorders to high-speed applications. The new ZEISS Compact Prime lenses for cinematography will be the center of attention in Hall 11, booth C67. They are the latest innovations in Carl Zeiss’ extensive overall line of products in the field of cinematography.

With this event, Carl Zeiss is staking its claim as a strong brand for maximum quality, maximum precision lenses for a broad range of applications. Carl Zeiss is using this trade fair to establish contact with potential partners and customers. Dr. Winfried Scherle, Vice President and General Manager of the Camera Lens Division at Carl Zeiss, explains that "ZEISS lenses are synonymous with outstanding optics and maximum performance. On this basis, we are striving to gain new market share and expand our distribution system with our own sales staff and in close cooperation with our existing partners. As an international meeting place for the industry, the IBC is the ideal location to put our plan into action."
