(pressebox) Poing, 14.01.2009, Blaupunkt GmbH, a leading German manufacturer of driver information systems, car radios and professional systems, has recently selected the NavX®-NCS, a multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS RF navigation constellation simulator from IFEN GmbH, as the GPS reference for its original equipment car navigation systems production testing.
Blaupunkt, who launched the first European navigation system in 1989, has selected IFEN’s latest multi-constellation GNSS simulator NavX®-NCS to perform the final production testing of its original equipment car navigation systems. "The selection demonstrates the quality and reliability of IFEN’s GNSS RF navigation constellation simulator NavX®-NCS", explains Dr. Günter Heinrichs, Head of Customer Applications. IFEN’s NavX®-NCS is a multi-constellation and multi-frequency RF constellation simulator supporting currently all present and future Galileo and GPS frequencies (E1/L1, L2c, E5ab/L5, and E6) in one box, now including also the new Galileo CBOC signal structure for the Galileo OS on Galileo E1 frequency.
Whether for mass market application, using combined GPS/Galileo signals on E1/L1, or safety of life signals on E1/L1 and E5b/L5 up to high-precision applications with four frequencies simultaneously for RTK surveying, NavX®-NCS masters them all.
