SAP users now have an even simpler possibility to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of their business processes with the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) transponder technology. The autoID middleware You-R® OPEN version 3.4 for the implementation of contactless data exchange within a company or individual projects has been SAP-certified. ?This way, all customers who are using an SAP system are guaranteed that the interface to You-R® OPEN is always compatible with the SAP architecture?, says Dominik Berger, Managing Director of the Graz-based RFID-technology company RF-iT Solutions GmbH, and adds: ?The convergence of SAP business solutions and RFID applications is obvious as both aim at making the implementation of the entire business processes of companies faster, safer and free of errors.?
The tried and tested RFID/autoID middleware You-R® OPEN of the Austrian solution provider and software company RF-iT Solutions contributes successfully to shortening the way to RFID-assisted processes in companies. You-R® OPEN has been used successfully in a series of different industries for years, above all the textile, automotive and pharmaceutical industries, and has received several awards not least due to this performance. You-R® OPEN enables existing software in companies to optimally process data from the RFID processes, irrespective of the readers and tags used. The Operating Environment thus represents the link between the RFID hardware and the existing IT infrastructure.
