Programme:
The BMW Sauber F1 Team spent a very productive test day with good, clear results. Nick started in the morning with set-up and aero work and then tested different tyre compounds for next week’s grand prix in Hockenheim. In the afternoon he continued with set-up work and also did test work on brakes. Robert tested a new front wing in the morning and then switched to an evaluation programme with different tyre compounds for the Turkish Grand Prix, which takes place in Istanbul at the end of August. In the afternoon Robert carried out a tyre testing programme for Michelin.
